Workshop A:

Five Flowers on Tote Bag

 

In this workshop, you will begin with a tote bag (provided), and learn 5 popular floral motifs. The 5 motifs are: Leaf, Tulip, Daisy, Lavender, and Rose (from left to right). 🌷

Choose your own colours for your threads, and we will learn the necessary stitches along the way!

The aim is to have fun and complete the piece by the end of class, with personal guidance and tips along the way.

As this workshop is for beginners who are new to embroidery, I would also cover:

(1) How to start and end thread,
(2) How to use a threader,
(3) How to prepare the fabric in the hoop, and
(4) How to transfer your design onto the fabric.

 

Workshop B:

Beginner Stitches on Hoop 

In this 2 hour workshop, you will learn some commonly used embroidery stitches for beginners that will help you get started on your own projects! These would mostly be floral elements - the very first ones I learned myself and am still incorporating in my designs today.

As this workshop is for beginners who are new to embroidery, I would also cover:

(1) How to start and end thread,
(2) How to use a threader,
(3) How to prepare the fabric in the hoop,
(4) How to transfer your design onto the fabric, and
(5) How to close the wooden hoop on completion.

 During the last 30 minutes of the workshop, I will offer guidance on how to start your first project, help with transferring your design, and answer any questions that you may have!

 Workshop format:

0.5h - Q&A / Discussion & begin on own projects

  • Cancellation: Confirmed participants may cancel (and obtain a full refund) or postpone a workshop session, by writing in no later than 5 working days in advance of the selected workshop date.

    If insufficient notice is given, the workshop fee is non-refundable unless you have found someone to attend in your place (please provide their names and contact details).

    Workshop sessions bought as gifts are subject to the same cancellation policy. LoveAlwaysCreates reserves the right to cancel or postpone workshops at any time, and offer a full refund of any monies already paid.

  • Workshop rules – Please be on time! The timing of workshop sessions shall commence strictly as stated, and any additional time allowed for participants after the ending time is discretionary.

  • Disclaimer: If you are unable to complete your design during the workshop timeframe, you may bring it home to complete.
